Our Story: Off the Grid, Not Off the Map

Maps Edge Land & Heritage Conservancy was born where the pavement ends and the real Arizona begins.

Founders Cody, Jonny, Kyle, and Anthony share a common obsession: the deep backcountry. We are explorers, off-roaders, and history buffs who live for the remote corners of the Southwest—the places most people never see, and even fewer understand. The more we explored the "edge of the map," the more we realized that Arizona’s forgotten history was being buried under modern neglect.

We saw historic trails choked by overgrowth, heritage sites marred by vandalism, and the pristine desert floor littered with trash. We decided that being enthusiasts wasn't enough; we had to become stewards.

What We Do

At Maps Edge, we don’t just drive the trails—we defend them. Our mission is to protect Arizona’s historical past through active, hands-on restoration and conservation.

Our Philosophy

We believe that the best way to honor Arizona’s future is to take care of its past. By revitalizing less-explored areas, we aim to foster a community of responsible explorers who value the heritage of the land as much as the thrill of the drive.

We are Maps Edge. We go further so history can last longer.
